Built in 1994 Berkheiser Custom car body shop, 1951 Mercury 2 door coupe took 3 years to build . Lots of documentation. 350CI 4 bolt mains with a Turbo 350 Auto tranny and floor shifter, Heavy duty 1970 Pontiac Firebird front end with power disc brakes, , 1955 Desoto grill , 1960 Chrysler tail lights, 8 inch extended rear quarters with custom bubble skirts. Special dual exhaust with spark plug flame throwers, 6 inch frenched recessed front head lights, Blue Dot park lights, all dash and gauges work as they should with tach, sliding center console with power window switches and air shocks and numerous ground effects light swithce’s. Body slots front and rear , shaved doors and trunk with power opening fobs and hidden pulls, custom Lake pipes molded into body, special hand crafted stainless side trim, All receipts $10800 US for the custom interior done by Lonnie Tehagen , 1964 Thunderbird seats front and rear with full custum headliner and package tray and trunk area. Appleton working spot lights, tinted new glass throughout, trailer tow package, Gloss High Octain paint [ Dark Hot Rose ] custom front and rear bumpers reinforced heavy gauge steel, History on previous owners from California. A fellow who was a Sherrif [ Sherrif John ] gave many folks rides in this car like Tom Selick and President Carter, then was sold to a museum in Oregon USA and was always indoors for 19 years then sold to a family friend in Oregon, the new owner imported the car to BC recently.
