1st Series – 1955 Chevrolet 1300 Step Side ½ ton pickup with a frame off restoration sitting on an 1964 Impala chassis with power steering, deluxe wood steering wheel. The truck has a 10 bolt rear end with 2:73 gears, heavy rear sway bar, smoothed firewall and running boards with Chevy step plates. She stops with power front disc brakes and drums on the rear. The motor is a rebuilt 1973 250CI 6 cylinder with an Edelbrock 4 brl. carb and a performance manifold connected to a Turbo 350 Automatic with a Genie tail arm shifter. The truck runs on Dayton radial wide whites with Lancer caps, custom dual exhaust with a custom built header. There is an electric thermostat controlled fan kit, new radiator, chromed battery cover, Halogen headlight and blinkers. The trucks Box sports an Oak deck and bed stake sides with matching spare tire box. The cab is a deluxe 5 window with tinted glass and all new rubbers, this year came with a one-piece windshield. Installed are under the dash electric wipers, “Raingear unit”, along with a frenched antenna with a stereo AMFM UPS/MP3 system. The cab interior color is a custom Grey with custom bucket seats, seat belts, door panels, carpet kit and full headliner sporting Grey. Installed in the cab is Hot Rod A/C that blows hot and cold, Classic gauges, Dakota Digital gear shifter readout on the dash.
