This Factory Five Racing Mk2 Roadster was built in 2001 by Factory Five Racing as a promotional vehicle and is finished in blue with white stripes over black. Power comes from a fuel-injected 347ci stroker V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes staggered-width 17″ wheels, Wilwood disc brakes, coilover suspension, side pipes, a roll hoop for the driver, bucket seats, and a new Canbus controlled Holley gauges wrapped by a new leather dash. Service in preparation for the sale included changing the oil and replacing the spark plugs and rear main seal. This Cobra replica is now offered for sale in Vancouver BC and the Registration lists the car as a 2001 Replica Convertible.
The car is finished in blue with white stripes and features a chrome-finished roll bar for the driver, front and rear bumperettes, a hood scoop and pins, side pipes, and number 12 roundels ahead of the doors. Gold-centered five-lug 17″ Halibrand-style wheels wear spinner-style center caps and are mounted with staggered-width Goodyear Eagle all-season tires with 2014 date codes. Each corner is equipped with Wilwood brake calipers and coilover suspension.
The interior features bucket seats trimmed in black with Simpson four-point harnesses for the driver and passenger. Factory Five-branded mats line the footwells, and the shift knob features a Cobra emblem. The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Holley instrumentation. The five-digit odometer shows 18000 miles.
The 347ci stroker V8 is fuel injected and wears a finned Cobra-branded air cleaner and valve covers. A new Holley Terminator X engine management system was just added. In 2017 the cylinder heads were rebuilt by SD Racing of Greenville, South Carolina. Work in March 2022 consisted of replacing the spark plugs and rear main seal as well as an oil change. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. A Coverking car cover is included with the sale.
