1970 Ford F100 Pickup Modified
1970 Ford F100 Custom. I’ve been building this truck for 8 years now. Mechanically it is completely finished and all that is needed is body and paint and the odd finishing touch. It is virtually rust free.
Everything works as it’s supposed to and I daily drove it in the summers. Needs nothing to drive.
I have probably forgotten a bunch’ but the description is below. I built this truck myself so feel free to ask anything.
The frame is completely custom, running a crown Vic p71 Interceptor front subframe/suspension and steering. Rear has been heavily c notched for the possibility to run airbags in the future. Front has the large brakes from an intercepted and is lowered on Aldan american adjustable coil overs. Rear sitting on QA1 adjustable coil overs and is triangulated 4 link, all adjustable, running a Ford Explorer Sport 8.8 with disc brakes, LSD, 3.73 gears and larger 31 spline axles. Also has a G2 diff cover for larger capacity and easy oil changes.
Under the hood is a 428 mated to a 4 Speed Top Loader transmission from a Fairlane gt. Motor has upgraded comp cams valve springs, Edelbrock performer intake, Petronix billet flame thrower distributor, Patriot long tune headers(ceramic coated), and a 750 Quick Fuel carb. Alternator is a newer high output Chevy. Power steering pump is Chevy, with decreased power for the Crown Vic steering rack. Cooling system is all new. Oil filter relocate to retain larger filter. Flowmaster 40 mufflers.
Fuel system is all stock other than a performance world micron filter and the brake system is all new top to bottom.
Interior is in good shape. New headliner and carpet. Seat is out of a 1980 crew cab from the rear so it’s like brand new and does away with the stock spring bench. 72 Sport Ranger door panels with trim and a 79 Bronco tilt steering column.
[ Rims are optional polished 18×7 Mustang Torque Thrust style rims. ] EMAIL FOR OWNERS CONTACT AND TO VIEW OR MORE PHOTOS.
