1966 Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastback
$45,000.00
So the Mustang was purchased by the sellers late wife in 1986 from a lady in West Vancouver who claimed she purchased it new from FOGG MOTORS in New West. 2 owner car
She used it as her daily driver then in 2008 she received some inheritance money and decided she wanted to put it into the car. At the recommendation from a friend she enlisted a custom hot rod shop over on 192nd Street in surrey near where Scott Booth’s SoCal shop is. She told them to take their time and she would drop in every couple weeks on a Friday with a case of beer to see how they were doing. I might be able to get a video of the restoration. It cost her $10,000.00.
The 289 engine has 193,000 miles on it and runs like a top, does not burn any oil but after driving it when the engine gets hot it does drip some oil.
Engine is original 289 4 bbl , C4 Auto all numbers on the car match. Car is an automatic.
I did not want to go to the expense of rebuilding the engine as I figured who ever buys it would want to do it themselves or have “their guy” do it
