1961 Chevrolet Belair Tudor Post
1961 Chevrolet Belair Mild Custom:
Shaved side Trim, all doors, fenders, hood, trunk, rad support removed for body and paint (car was pretty much rust free other that 3 minor repairs – lower front quarter panel and both eyebrows over the headlights). Undercarriage was scraped, stripped and cleaned and then sprayed with Black Endura. Interior was painted with Por15 and then dyna matted. Exterior paint is a 2 tone with– bottom color is GM white with Blue pearl, top is Black base with House of Color “Blue Kamen” Jewelled Metal Flake, there is a powder blue pinstripe separating the 2 tone.
New body parts: hood and trunk hinges, door strikers & Hinge pins. Tail light bezels and lenses. Sill Plates. All Weather Stripping, window channels, window cranks. Some door/window handles and trim was replaced with new pieces.
Motor/Trans: 1999 GMC Sierra LS 4.8 litre/4L60E with @ 60,000miles. Cold Air intake, Throttle body spacer, 2002 Camaro Manifolds with Flowmaster Mufflers, 2002 Camaro Radiator and Fan Assemble, Painless wiring fan relay, Speartech standalone wiring harness for motor and trans, Factory PCM that has been professionally tuned, aftermarket adapter to run factory speedo, Aeromotive in tank fuel pump with corvette WIX fuel filter/regulator. Intake manifold is a truck style with returnless fuel rails. Aftermarket Water, Oil and Volt gauges that are tied into the Speartech harness.
Front Suspension: CPP upper and lower tubular control arms, upgraded to a 605 power steering box, 12” disc brakes with power booster and corvette master cylinder, 2” drop spindles and 2 “ drop springs, Hotchkis 1.5” front Sway bar.
Rear Suspension: Hotchkis tubular trailing arms, 1” sway bar and pan hard bar, 3” drop springs with a Moser Ford 9” with 4.11 gears.
Interior: Custom one off – Complete – White Marine Vinyl with silver pearl and powder blue stitching to match the pinstripe. Interior was done in a 60’s tuck and roll including the kick panels, matching headliner & Sun Visors. Carpet was replaced from Classic Industries (Black).
Wheels/Tires: Super Supreme’s 15X7 with 205-70R15’s
Car was completely rewired front to back using Classic Industries wiring looms and connectors
Hidden stereo in glove box with IPOD hook up, 2 subs, 6×9’s and amp in the trunk, and mids hidden under the dash
Car is in great condition, it is a driver so there are some blemishes.
Car is also registered in BC and had collector/modified plates
