1957 Meteor Ranchero [ Very Rare ]
1957 Meteor Ranchero factory V8 car, 1 of 96 built, with correspondence
from Ford of Canada indicating such and it was built in the second week
of September 1957. 292 V8, automatic, power steering, power brakes.
Electric windows and seat. Town and Country radio converted to AM/FM
with an auxiliary jack. Clock, tissue dispenser (non Ford), padded dash
and visors, day/night rear view mirror. Vacuum wipers with the washer
system. Original Holley 4 barrel with dual exhaust and Delta wing tips.
Full stainless side trim with anodized insert, paint dividers on top of
rear fin and rocker moldings with the hockey stick. Reverse light, dual
exterior spotlights with mirror. Factory air conditioning but has a leak
in the system. 5 Coker wide white and full Meteor hub caps (4). There
are chips in paint and I have extra paint from when the car was painted.
Total frame off restoration, car was purchased back in about 1990 with
the restoration finished about 2019. Interior door panels from SMS and
seat material from Le Baron Bonney. This car was purchased new from
Ever Ready Motors in Kamloops BC and now resides in West Kelowna and
still carries the original registration number. More photos available upon request.
