Supercharged 408 cubic inch small block Chev built on a Dart block foundation. Forged 4340 double keyed crank, H beam steel rods, JE Forged blower pistons, file fit moly rings, SFI double keyed balancer, canton oil pan & pickup, comp cam custom grind hyd roller cam & hyd roller lifters, comp double roller timing chain set, polished aluminum timing cover, polished 210 cc runner 64cc chamber aluminum heads, mild port job & flowed , Manley severe duty stainless steel valves, comp valve springs, Moly retainers, Manley 7/16 rocker studs, comp Moly roller rockers, 4130 push rods, Jomar stud girdles, polished smoothie valve covers with billet breathers, blower shop polished intake (port matched to heads), polished BDS airloc 871 supercharger, pair of 850 quickfuel blower carbs, stainless fuel lines, linkage, funny car style belt guard, dual carb scoop with K&N filters. MSD Billet Distributor & MSD ign box and coil and Moroso 40 series ignition wires, Eldelbrock shorty high flow aluminum water pump. The blower is 10% underdriven and the engine Dynoed at 753 hp and runs on pump gas. To keep it running cool it employes a Big Griffin aluminum polished radiator with two electric fans and overflow. The transmission is a Hughes turbo 400 with a Hughes 3500 RPM stall converter. It has a deep Finned aluminum transmission pan and an SFI flex plate with ARP bolts. The big transmission cooler is plumbed with braided lines and has a Sphal cooling fan. The transmission is mounted with a tubular cross member and a poly mount. It also has a Lokar dipstick. The driveshaft is a 4 inch aluminum unit from precision shaft technologies and it has 1350 U joints and a heavy duty yoke. Doug‘s fender exit headers with dumps and caps are White ceramic coated. Stainless steel exhaust with part number 13530320 Flowmaster round bullet mufflers, all tig welded. The assy has been brused finished. The exhaust runs inside along the rocker panel flange and turns out in front of the rear wheels. Aluminium 16 gallon fuel cell with roll over valve and sender. An Aeromotive A 1000 fuel pump, # 10 braided main line, 100 micron filter, # 8 braided return line with return style regulator keeps the carbs happy at all times. A Black pleated interior based off of impala buckets with an S S Center consul and Hurst shifter. Stuart Warner gauges and a Moon – Mounted tach. The front doors have vent delete glass that is actuated with a power window upgrade. Secret audio sound with power antenna. A Grant vintage black “ foam grip “ steering wheel completes the interior’s old school look. Timeless 15×4 / 15×10 Cragar S/S rims with Firestone bias ply 6.40-15 front runners and big Firestone “ pie crust “ dragster slicks complete the rolling stock. ( all D.O.T. Approved )
