ENGINE AND COMPONENTS: On the vehicle inspected the engine ran good with no apparent oil burning or irregular motor noises to date. On vehicle inspected, the 1976 Cadillac 500 CID V-8 engine was installed under the present owner’s direction, OIL SYSTEM: A factory steel oil pan is mounted. High volume oil pump is installed. HEADS AND OTHER COMPONENTS: Factory stock heads installed. FUEL AND AIR DELIVERY SYSTEM, ETC: There was a rebuilt Rochester Quadra Jet 800 CFM type carburetor installed. New replacement steel fuel lines and fittings utilized. New manual fuel pump installed. Factory stock intake manifold was mounted. Factory air filter assembly. Factory painted valve covers mounted. COOLING SYSTEM: A new 3 core aluminum radiator was installed. Radiator has been serviced, checked, pressure tested, cleaned and flushed. There was the installation of an 18” electric cooling fan to aid in the cooling. New heater core installed. New water pump installed. After-market Vintage Air conditioning & heat system work was upgraded to R134A specifications. Cooling hoses and drive belts are in new condition with after-market hose clamps. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: A recent battery has been recently installed. Battery is rear trunk mounted for safety and traction purposes. New reproduction battery cables are mounted. A new chrome polished alternator was installed. A new Wilson starter was installed. New 8 m/m spark plug wires are installed. New replacement wiring loom, harness, rewiring done as required. Factory 1976 design fuse and panel box has been installed. 6 Volt system converted to a 12 Volt system. Electric power windows have been installed. New Delco Remy [GM] distributor. Under dash Equus white faced oil pressure, volt, water & fuel gauges are installed. EXHAUST SYSTEM: Factory stock cast exhaust manifolds are utilized. 2-1/2″ O.D. aluminumized steel exhaust pipes utilized. After-market Flowmaster mufflers have been installed. TRANSMISSION: Factory GM Turbo 400 transmission was rebuilt/installed. Stock stall torque converter is mounted. Factory style interior shifter assembly. Transmission cooler is installed to aid cooling. Transmission was serviced and checked and resealed. DIFFERENTIAL & COMPONENTS: New balanced, rear drive shaft is installed. Universal joints have been replaced. Differential has been checked, rebuilt, resealed and serviced. New axle bearing, seals, etc are installed. The 1957 Chevrolet differential is installed. BRAKES: On vehicle inspected some, major brake work was done in the past. New GM front brake pads, single piston calipers rotors. Portioning valve has been replaced. New hand brake cable system. The original drum brake system was converted to desirable and safety upgraded front wheel disc brake type. New rear brake shoes & new rear drums. New front and rear wheel cylinders, brake hoses and stainless steel lines. New master brake cylinder. SUSPENSION: Major suspension work completed. 1974 Nova front clip c/w power steering and disc brakes installed,. New gas filled front and rear shocks installed. Lower & upper ball joints, control arms, pitman arm, tie rod ends, idler arm etc have been replaced. New rubber bushings are installed. New front springs installed. Rebuilt power steering, box, pump, cylinder ram, steering valve etc. Wheel alignment was completed. New power steering hoses have been installed. Wheel bearings have been replaced. All other maintenance done as required on this vehicle. BODY AND PAINT UPGRADES: Paint and body work was completed, unconfirmed date. This was a professional, quality body shop under the present Respray paint utilized was base coat, clear coat application. Body shop was utilized for the removal, installation of bumpers, fenders, moldings, exterior. components, interior components, etc. The vehicle was disassembled for proper restoration procedures. This was a frame off restoration, the way it should be done. Frame, chassis was sandblasted, painted and detailed. Body was sanded to bare metal as required. Original body panels are still in good condition. Floor pans have been repaired as required. Trunk floor repaired as required. Original steel body panels are still utilized. Very good cargo area for its year. New body mounts and fasteners. No considerable or excessive body filler or dents evident. New power Hartz cloth convertible top installed. Very straight body for its year. Very good condition undercarriage for its year. Major chrome and plating was done. Rechromed front & rear bumpers. Stainless has been cleaned and power polished. WEATHER STRIPPING: Rubber weather stripping on doors, trunk lid area and front & rear windshield areas are in excellent condition. Window channel felts and rubbers installed are in excellent condition. INTERIOR AND AREA: Interior installed is new custom reupholstered sewn as required, under the direction of the present owner. The dash, door panels, carpet, arm rests, seat covers, headliner and sill plates are in new very good condition. New replacement interior trim lace. After-market chrome tilt steering column installed. Steering wheel has been refurbished. The dash bezels and trim are in very good condition. The trunk carpet and leather installed is in very good condition. Interior has had after-market sound and heat deadener installed.
