1947 Packard Clipper Sedan Custom

This car was built 10 years ago framed off fully redone to a high standard, all steel floors & rockers and tail pan were built using 18 gauge steel with steel tube sub structures and body is channelled 2 inches a lot of work. Front and rear tail pans removed, Bumpers moved inwards 3 inches and the front end totally restyled, headlights moved outward 3 inches and forward 1 inch. Dorr vent windows removed and larger one piece door glass installed with power windows, Custom custom rocker trim handmade added, all the other exterior stainless original to the car polished and fit to perfection, The entire design was made to work together with the bodies contours, frame was replaced with a 1978 Mercury Grand Marquise 2 door, makes for a very solid modern drive and ride much better then just adding a clip. Engine is a 460CI with C6 Auto transmission, 1978 Mercury ebrake system & brake pedal and booster assemblies were from same donor car. 11.5 inch front disc brakes, Ford 9 inch rear end with 2:75 highway gears, the Mercury frame is a perimeter design with double tube cross members added for superior strength. Full 2 1/2 inch custom bent dual exhaust with cherry Bomb mufflers, the engine is totally stock & reliable along with the transmission with a mild shift kit, Classic gauges odometer showing 11500 miles, American Auto Wire harness throughout, Vintage heater defroster, Tilt column, Electric wipers, power seat, console with cup holders, CD sound system, 4 speakers, Custom interior throughout including the trunk area. Priced at half of it’s value due to the new engine knock which happened recently if your mechanical it is an easy fix.
