1928 Ford Roadster Pickup. 1928 Ford Roadster P/U which the got from his uncle. The vehicle arrived at his place on November 8, 2002. The Roadster P/U was a complete stock 1928, with the exception of the wheels and tires, including the stock engine, transmission and body. He immediately started stripping the truck down to the frame and selling all the components that I didn’t need for what he had planned to do. The only things kept were the frame and body parts. With the assistance of his Builder/Mechanic, ‘Don Schwab’ he added the following modern components to the 28 Ford Roadster build. There is a Corvair front clip and suspension chromed , front disc brakes, GM radiator, GM 4.3 V6 with a 4-bbl. carb, Turbo 350 transmission, 8-inch Ford rear-end, new FG fenders and new chrome rims and tires, some extras. Everything was completed in the spring of 2005 and shortly after that they hooked up a hardtop tent-trailer and headed off to Hot August Nights down in Reno Nevada, which was the first of many long trips. Proven cruiser this included going to Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Selkirk Manitoba, and many stops in Saskatchewan, Alberta, B.C., as well as Washington, Oregon and California.
